Dr. Hering felt that this work should be available to both student and practitioner, and he devoted a year to its translation. The Index is very complete, showing the compared remedies. Hering even added his own 4-page Pharmaceutical Key. Remedies, which share similar characteristics, are placed side by side on a page. Also, there is a comparison of the condition of aggravation and amelioration at the bottom of each page. It is still used, being one of the more comprehensive comparisons. Scarce. After Herings death, this Second Edition was published in 1897 without revisions. This work is seldom offered. This work once belonged to Dr. Maisi Panos. |
