Dr. Swan was an I.H.A. member, and he was very involved in provings and the potentizing of remedies. Thirty-eight pages of this work were devoted to a proving of Sacc. Lactis; the rest of the book to provings of lac. Caninum. This may be considered the second edition, since a bindery fire destroyed nearly all of the original editions. This Materia Medica is often requested, and considered scarce.
